Anglers are a type of NPC that give infinitely repeating quests, which involve handing in random Fish for rewards. The Fish required to complete the quest is dependent on the Bestiary of where the Angler is located. Completed Angler quests are tracked in the player's Stats menu. The top 50 players in Angler quests completed are displayed on a leaderboard next to the Angler in Moosewood. Once a quest has been successfully completed, a 2-minute cooldown will start before being eligible to start the next quest.
The Angler is an NPC found across the various Islands in the game Fisch. He will give the player a quest, requiring 120 seconds after completion before he can give another request.

Quests
The Quest is to retrieve a certain fish, in return, he gives the player XP and C$ C$. He will give you better rewards the more quests you complete. Rewards such as the Angler's Glove, Weather Matrix, and Angler's raft can only be obtained once. The amount of awarded by the angler is generally ~6-8x of the fish's current value. After the player has completed 10+ quests, the player can be asked to submit Legendary fish. After the player has completed 25+ quests, the player can be asked to submit Mythical fish. After the player has completed 50+ quests, the player can be asked to submit Exotic or fish. After the player has completed 75+ quests, the player can be asked to submit Secret fish. After the player has completed 100+ quests, the player can be asked to submit Apex fish.
Trivia
There is a unique Angler NPC for every location the Angler is in. There are no major changes except for the Angler in The Depths, who has a different dialogue for when you ask "Where can I find a [Fish]?" If the fish is in the island the Angler is in. If the player asks The Depths Angler "Where can I find a [Fish]?" he won't know. It is recommended to talk to the Angler in The Depths as he will only ask for fish found in the same location where he is located. There is currently a bug where Roslit's Angler is actually Terrapin's Angler. The Angler from The Depths has a text which says "霧島" (KIRISHIMA) on the right hand. If The Angler asked for an extinct fish before it was removed, The Angler would say “Did you get the- Wait what? The fish went extinct?” Category:NPCs Category:Quest Giver
