The Lantern Keeper is an NPC located at Moosewood that players can purchase a Lantern from. They can be found next to or behind the lighthouse. The Keeper has a 21.43% (3/14) chance to move between his two possible locations. This chance is rolled 1-3 times every 2-2.5 minutes.
The Lantern Keeper is a NPC found around the lighthouse at the back of Moosewood during the day, also changing spots throughout. He offers a prompt to players to buy lanterns for. Some Robux lanterns like Eternal Lantern of Abyss can also be obtained. His head and body twitches oddly and he speaks with random capitalization on some words. According to a tip in the asset loading screen, he is a vessel cursed with a constant flow of all possible knowledge at once. He sells the player lanterns that serve as a light source and cosmetic. The lanterns are sold at random for 1000C$ C$ separately (1/16 for each specific lantern) with a slim chance of getting the Fairy Lantern (1/50). If a duplicate lantern is obtained, is refunded to the player instead. As of Update 1.09.1, lanterns are kept permanently in the inventory and can be switched between. There are currently 11 lanterns available from the Lantern Keeper and 8 unavailable lanterns as listed below.
