Strategy

Walking in the water with or lower will automatically set the timer to 2 seconds if you are set in the water. If you are against John Doe, this can be used to "cleanse" the slow from a trap. Also, if you are against John Doe, aim to get them into the water, as their trail causes them to suffer an additional up to 5 seconds of slowness. Note that both of these interactions with John Doe are bugs, and they will be fixed with future updates. Builderman can put his Sentry in the corner of several houses on the map, this will make the Killer waste more time destroying it. The several elevated parts of the maps can be used to avoid 1x1x1x1's attacks. Guest 1337's Charge ability can be used go across the water if in a pinch. The arguably best looping spots on this map are the entire cave area and the gate. There are several spots where John Doe's Digital Footprint will effectively close off a route. Despite the elevations in the lake area, the brown houses, and the run-down house aren't high enough for Survivors to dodge 1x1x1x1's Entanglement.

Patch history

This map was the 6th playable map added to FORSAKEN and the 14th map added to FORSAKEN, including unused maps. This map was reworked due to one of the dojos (the one on the hill) having a very easy looping spot for survivors. It proved frustrating for ranged-based killers like 1x1x1x1 and absolutely maddening for ones like Slasher that were utterly and pure melee. The staircase was buried under rubble to fix this. This map was accidentally removed by the developers on the Taph update (Update 2.2.0), but was added back in The Patch That Became a Mini-Update (Which Is Also The One Before Noli) (Patch 2.2.2.) The map had a small tweak in the cave section when it was re-added, directly in the center of the cave section, which branches off into three areas. Gameplay of the first release of can be seen here.
