Appearance
The Eggplant crop consists of two thin, vine-like stems which would protrude from the ground. These stems have dark green leaves on them, and the produce is attached to a part of the stem that’s higher up. Eggplant produce resembles a real-life eggplant with its plum/dark purple color, and includes greenery on the top, along with a small, short, bent stem — but it lacks curvature like a real eggplant, being more rectangular instead.

Patch history
The Eggplant used to be visually identical to the Easter Egg seed, but then later was changed into a purple colour in the cooking update. The Eggplant image is used as the default placeholder for each item in the Seed Shop. There's a bug where if a player opens the seed shop before the data loads completely, an eggplant image can be seen being called an Apple seed. The price is 10, stock is 0 and rarity is common with a light blue background.
