Overview
The Mandrake is a non-exclusive rare crop obtainable from Crafting.
Appearance
The Mandrake is a clear resemblance to the real Mandrake, with a mainly orange body, green leaf-tuffs on the top of its head, and a full face with an open mouth. The Mandrake crop has the eyes closed and a bit of the head sticking out of the ground. Under the ground it looks like it is peeking from under the ground making it look a bit unsettling. The seed appears to be similar to the produce without the face and human body.
Obtainment
The Mandrake could have been obtained in the Goliath's Goods shop for 50,000 Sheckle or 199 Robux during the Beanstalk Event. The Mandrake can now be obtained by the following crafting recipe: 1 Carrot Seed 1 Beanstalk 1 Common Egg Takes 5 minutes to craft.

What does this mean?

This is the first crop to have custom blart when held out. (the 2nd being the Cocomango) This crop is based off of the fantasy world concept popularized by Harry Potter and The Chambers of Secrets originating from Greek mythology known as Mandrakes, humanoid plant creatures, their wails cause people to pass out, this is most likely why it plays a special sound. Even if it is the same size, its shape always changes, or its shape may remain the same, but the blart never changes. The plant will have closed eyes/sleep if in the ground. The garden guide says that it's multi harvest, but it isn't. It also has a pet-version that can be obtained in the Skyroot Chest. The Mandrake is the first craftable item that can be crafted via Isaac's crafting tables that does not require a currency, when submitting all items it just says, "no costs". The second item to have this is the Evo Apple I seed. The Mandrake is the first ever crop to be added with a face. The second one being the Cocomango. The third being the Gingerbread Blossom. The Mandrake was added to the crafting table so that its pet-version has the crop for its ability.
