Overview

The Multitrap is a divine crop that was added in the Seed Stages Event.

Appearance

The Multitrap produce resembles a light-green stem with two blocky oval-like shapes facing each other from top-to-bottom, with rectangular spikes lining up the halves and a bed of pink. The Multitrap crop appears to be a base of 4 long green leaves with 3 curving, rectangular, light green stems with small dark green spikes originating from the base. At the end of each stem, the produce grows. The Multitrap seed appears to be a rectangle with a light-green to dark green gradient with 4 flytrap jaws in different orientations and positions.

Patch history

The Multitrap is a more biologically accurate version of the Venus Fly Trap. The Multitrap is one of the only crops to have an animated feature (the produce opening and closing its jaw), the others being the Venus Fly Trap, Wispwing, King Cabbage, Frostwing, and Wereplant. The Multitrap is the second plant to have animated produce; the first being Wispwing, and third being Wereplant, and forth being Frostwing. For some reason, when the Frozen mutation is applied to a crop, the 'Ice Block' is heavily elongated to the left.
