The Panda is a Legendary pet added in the Animal Update. It could be obtained by claiming it within the first hour of the update. The Panda will occasionally sit down every ~20 seconds.

Appearance
The Panda is a white with a black stripe bear. It has a black tail, feet and black circles around its eyes along with a pair of black ears.
Trait
Every ~3 minutes, the Panda goes to a Bamboo in the garden and eats it, immediately selling it for a ~1.5x value increase. The player still receives the money after that. If there's no Bamboo in the garden, the Panda will walk around the garden aimlessly.

The Panda was the first pet that couldn't be obtained from an egg. The Panda is also the first bear in the game The Panda gives 0 Sheckle when sold, similar to Cooked Owl and Bald Eagle. As of now The Panda can recognize mutations, so it wont sell Bamboo with mutations for the same price as a normal Bamboo as it used to. The Pandas ability is similar to the Bunny’s, eating a crop and giving to the player. The Panda was given for achieving 1 million active players in grow a garden and was only available for 1 hour.
