Haunted House is one of the first four maps made in Murder Mystery 1. It was removed in the v0.4.7b update during the introduction of the Hotel map. The map was focused around a Halloween themed mansion on top of a hill with lightning strikes occasionally.

Appearance
The map was a copy of Shedletsky's classic Haunted Mansion. The map was huge, consisting of an outside area and a mansion. It was also very dark, as the interior of the mansion was completely dark. The mansion consisted of 2 floors, an attic, and a basement. Below the mansion lies a cave. There was a way to get on the roof of the haunted mansion, making it very difficult for the murderer to win. Many players who were the murderers complained that the map was too large and it was hard for them to succeed.

Trivia
The map was originally known as Haunted Mansion, but was renamed to Haunted House around v.0.3.0b. This alongside Glass Houses, Italy, and The Lab are first maps ever added to Murder Mystery. It's never said why the map was removed but its possible that the size of the map and complaints were the reason. It is the only map with thunder/lightning.
