MapsMurder Mystery 2

Overview[1]

Lab 2 is a discontinued and very old map in Murder Mystery 2, being released since the debut of the game on December 25, 2014. Lab 2 is a revamp of The Lab map from Murder Mystery 1. It was removed and replaced by nSOffice during the Season 1 update on May 25, 2019. As of now it's not known as to who created the map. Lab 2 is one of the most disliked maps in Murder Mystery 2 due to the dull visuals, being very confusing to navigate, and lacking the Interactables that the precursor had.

Appearance

Lab 2 was a fairly regular sized map. It had grey metallic walls, white floors and a classic designed interior. The map in general was very dull and bland with little style and the dullness made it hard to navigate because of how similar every room looked. One of the doors in the West hallway ain't even built properly. It is really confusing and hard for the innocents to survive because of the small hallways and every room being incased by a door. There were many rooms. Most rooms on the map are just dull lab rooms which just have control panels. There was one storage room that had many boxes which you could hide behind. There was also a jail room which was a dead end and didn't provide too much as a hiding spot. At the end of the jail cells there was a sewer grate in which you could not enter. There was a server room which didn't provide a good hiding spot.

Hiding Spots

Behind the crates in the rooms on 1st floor. Behind one of the server racks. In the jail cell room. In all of the other rooms.

Patch history

The map would later get updated in the form of Research Facility, just without the lab name. Lab 2 is one of four maps first added to Murder Mystery 2. The others being House, Mansion, and Office 2.
