Mineshaft 2, also known as Mineshaft, is a map that was added in the Halloween 2022 Event. It is a larger sized Halloween themed remake of its previous version, designed by Zyleak.

About
This map consists of a large open area with water, railways, mineshafts and a locker room. There is a secret room behind one of the lockers similar to the original version. It also features Minecarts and some Crystals on the walls, as-well as a small sewer tunnel. This map used to be a Halloween Themed map until the Halloween Event 2025, where although coming back during a Halloween Event it had it's Halloween decorations removed entirely. Unlike its predecessor, it's a much brighter map.
Hiding Spots
In the Minecarts with the Sit (Emote). In the sewer drain. In a crate in the Main Area. Above the locker rooms behind some crates. In the cave with the JD easter egg. Behind some crates in the storage area. In a small cave in one of the Mineshafts with a railway.
Patch history
Mineshaft was a highly requested map to make its return into Murder Mystery 2. It is known as the second version of Mineshaft, however it uses the same name as the first version. It only returns during Halloween events unlike it's predecessor, however it is rumored that this map may become a permanent map in the game because when the Halloween Event 2025 released the Halloween decorations were removed from this map entirely.
