Each decade from the top of the mountain, that young and energetic girl would bring that timid but knowledgeable boy to the entrance of the hiking trail. Their footsteps shimmering as they climbed to the very top of that monolith, that quiet mountain in the distance. At the peak, where the rocky cliffs towered above all and when evil swelled to it's fullest breath, at the height of the vilest midnight, a gentle violet radiance spilled throughout the streets. The screams of agony and depression quelled. The people looked to the skies and smiled. And so the blackest night split open. A brilliance in the vantablack; Doors creaked.
