Patch history
The Coin was the first usable item that gave the player money, the other being the Gilded Coin which gave the player Currency#Coins| instead.
As of the Era 8 update, the Coin and the Gilded Coin can no longer be saved in the player's inventory when picked up.
The Coin is one of the 4 items that are based on coins, the others being the Gilded Coin, Lucky Penny, and the Void Coin. Although, the Coin and Gilded Coin are the only items that affect currency.
Jackpot| shows a coin above the player, but it is not the same coin as this one.
