Description

The Twitgunner was an unreleased tower added in the Overhaul Update. The Twitgunner functioned mostly like a generic tower, firing from its pistol and later Uzi at enemies. Its stats and even store description were directly copied from the default Scout with some very minor changes. It also has a tweet animation where it pulls out a phone and makes a tweet, though the exact purpose of this is not known.

Strategy

Due to its cheap cost and DPS, this tower would mostly end up being a better Scout for early-game.

Patch history

The Twitgunner was most likely a successor to the Clout God, the original version of the Hunter. Many of its Levels, especially Level 4-5 bear huge resemblance to the Clout God. Some of the tower textures, like the phone used while it would tweet were made in August of 2019, meaning they are most likely reused textued from the Clout God.
