Patch history
Desolate Desert was the first map to ever be revamped. Before it was revamped, it was a Slime King map. In the map, there is a single rock with a squinting face, most likely a golem. In the preview of the map posted on twitter there was a Sandworm decoration on the map. It was removed from the map in the update. Originally, the boss render was meant to be of the Ancient Spirit instead of the Cursed Golem, however Hiloh deemed it too difficult to create at the time. This was rectified in the PIG 64 Crossover. During the Corporate Chaos Revamp/Sacred Shrine Update, Bamboo Reapers and Bamboo Winged Reapers were added to the map. However, about a week later, they as well as Winged Reapers, Devil Reapers, and Big Reapers were removed from the map. Winged, Devil, and Big Reapers were re-added during the Canyon Calamity Revamp Update On the Quiet Quarry update, Desolate Desert was changed to a level 5+ instead of a level 10+.
