It could have been obtained through purchasing and unboxing the Regal Chest for 300 Bucks or the Standard Chest for 105 Bucks; players had a 2.2% and 6.7% chance of getting it from these gifts, respectively. As it was removed from the game on May 10, 2024, it can now only be obtained through trading.

Appearance
The Card Reader features a black card reader with several glowing blue keys, one glowing red key, and one glowing yellow key. There is a glowing blue screen with a card inserted in the bottom, and a slip of paper coming out of the top. This pet accessory goes on a pet's back.
