The Ocean Egg is a limited legendary egg in Adopt Me! that was released on April 16, 2021, replacing the Fossil Egg. Players were able to purchase it from the Gumball Machine in the Nursery for 750 Bucks. It can now only be obtained through trading, as it was replaced by the Mythic Egg on August 19, 2021. On April 9, 2021, a large red and white floating banner with a live countdown was held by a flying Starfish and Crab. Around the Nursery, several ocean-themed items such as coral and seaweed were used as decorations. When the countdown ended and the Ocean Egg was released, the Nursery was flooded until the release of the Mythic Egg.

Appearance
The Ocean Egg is a dark blue-colored egg with dark green sea kelp on its underside; this kelp often detaches when the egg moves. A bright yellow starfish lies on the top right corner, with yellow and brown accents in the center.
Patch history
There were about 1.92 million people playing Adopt Me! at the time the Ocean Egg was released. This broke the previous record of concurrent players; this previous record was held by Adopt Me! as well.
One of the pets holding up the Ocean Egg countdown banner was the Starfish, which wasn't in the egg.
The Ocean Egg was the first egg to make changes to the pet side of the Nursery.
