The Buffalo is a common pet in Adopt Me! that was released on June 15, 2019, along with the Pets update. Originally, players could obtain it by hatching a Cracked Egg or a Pet Egg, but as of July 21, 2022, the Buffalo can only be obtained by hatching a Retired Egg or through trading. Players have a 5% chance of hatching a Buffalo from a Retired Egg.

Appearance
The Buffalo has a brown body, two beady black eyes, and two white horns. Its overcoat (the body, feet, and a small section of its head) is a slightly darker brown than its face and lower body.

Neon Appearance
The Neon Buffalo glows emerald green on its horns, nose, feet, and tail.
Mega Neon Appearance
The Mega Neon Buffalo glows in the same areas as the Neon Buffalo, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
