The Otter is a common pet in Adopt Me! that was released on June 15, 2019, along with the Pets update. Originally, players could obtain it by hatching a Cracked Egg or a Pet Egg, but as of July 21, 2022, the Otter can only be obtained by hatching a Retired Egg or trading. Players have a 5% chance of hatching an Otter from a Retired Egg.

Appearance

The Otter has a dark brown body with two black beady eyes, feet, and a tan snout with a black nose. The Otter also has two small ears and a tail at the back of its body. It also has circular feet.

Tips & tricks

  • Here are the tricks the Otter learns in order:

  • Newborn - Sit

  • Junior - Lay Down

  • Pre-Teen - Bounce

  • Teen - Roll Over

  • Post-Teen - Backflip

  • Full Grown - Dance

Neon appearance

The Neon Otter glows bright yellow on its tail, feet, nose, and inner ears.

Mega Neon appearance

The Mega Neon Otter glows in the same areas as the Neon Otter, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
