The Dog is a common pet in Adopt Me! that was released on June 15, 2019, as part of the Pets Update. Players can obtain it by hatching a Starter Egg or a Retired Egg at a 50% and 5% chance respectively or through trading. Before July 21, 2022, players could hatch a Dog from a Cracked Egg and a Pet Egg.

Appearance
The Dog is a cream color with a round body, four feet, a small tail from behind, and a head with two large ears, two beady black eyes, a black round nose, and a salmon tongue that sticks out.
Tricks
Here are the tricks the Dog learns in order: Newborn - Sit Junior - Lay Down Pre-Teen - Bounce Teen - Roll Over Post-Teen - Backflip Full Grown - Dance
Neon Appearance
The Neon Dog glows light blue on its ears, tail, and paws.
Mega Neon Appearance
The Mega Neon Dog glows in the same areas as the Neon Dog, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
Trivia
There are four reskins of the Dog: the Blue Dog, Chocolate Labrador, Dalmatian and Practice Dog. Most purchasable pet accessories are displayed on a Dog model. The Mechapup uses a Dog's head. On the Classic Trade Stand, the Dog is featured on a black circular stand. Dogs were obtainable for free during certain Admin Abuse events.
