The Practice Dog is a common non-tradable pet in Adopt Me! that is given to players with no pets. When the player receives another pet or leaves the game, it will be removed from their inventory.

The Practice Dog is a reskin of the Dog. Unlike the Dog, its whole body has a graph paper texture pasted on it.

Trivia
Players are unable to dress up, name, or level up the Practice Dog. The Practice Dog can only learn one trick: Sit. The Practice Dog cannot be made into a Neon or Mega Neon because a player can only receive one. The Practice Dog cannot be fed a Fly-A-Pet Potion or a Ride-A-Pet Potion.
