The Cat is a common pet in Adopt Me! that was released on June 15, 2019, as part of the Pets update. Players can obtain it by hatching a Starter Egg or a Retired Egg at a 50% and 5% chance respectively or through trading. Before July 21, 2022, players could hatch a Cat from a Cracked Egg and a Pet Egg.

Appearance
The Cat has a round gray body with four gray feet, a gray tail, and a gray head with two ears with pink insides, two beady black eyes, a pink round nose, and three small whiskers on each side of the nose.

Here are the tricks the Cat learns in order: Newborn - Sit Junior - Lay Down Pre-Teen - Bounce Teen - Roll Over Post-Teen - Backflip Full Grown - Dance
Neon Appearance
The Neon Cat glows pale pink on its inner ears, nose, whiskers, and feet.
Mega Neon Appearance
The Mega Neon Cat glows in the same areas as the Neon Cat, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
Trivia
There are two reskins of the Cat; the Snow Cat and the Pink Cat. The Mecha Meow uses a Cat's head. On the Classic Trade Stand, the Cat is featured on a black circular stand. Cats were obtainable for free during certain Admin Abuse events.
