The Hedgehog (formerly known as the Elf Hedgehog) is a limited ultra-rare pet in Adopt Me! that was released on December 14, 2019, as part of the Christmas Event (2019). It could have been bought for 80,500 Gingerbread. As its event has ended, it can now only be obtained through trading. In the Dress Your Pets Live Event on April 11, 2020, the Elf Hedgehog was renamed "Hedgehog" and the Elf Hat was added to the inventory of players that had previously owned the Elf Hedgehog, allowing them to trade the hat separately.

Appearance
The Hedgehog has brown spikes covering most of its back and head; it has beige fur, beige feet, two black eyes, a round dark brown nose, and circular brown ears with dark beige insides.

Neon Appearance
The Neon Hedgehog glows a pale pink inside its ears, on its nose, and on its feet. Before the Dress Your Pets Live Event, the gold bell on its hat glowed bright yellow.
Mega Neon Appearance
The Mega Neon Hedgehog glows in the same areas as the Neon Hedgehog, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.

Trivia
The trick 'Jump', which has the Hedgehog roll into a ball when jumping into the air, and Trick 2, which has the Hedgehog spin into a ball and roll off quickly, are references to the Spin Jump and Spin Dash moves from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. The Hedgehog was one of the few pets whose pet wear glowed when in Neon form. This was until Adopt Me! made the Elf Hat tradable.
