The River Otter is a limited rare pet in Adopt Me! that was released on June 26, 2026, alongside week two of the Summer Camp Event (2026). Players could have purchased it for 35,000 Acorns, or hatched it from a Basic Egg, Crystal Egg, or Admin Abuse Egg. It is now only obtainable through trading, as it left the game on July 24, 2026.

Neon appearance
The Neon River Otter glows orange on its whiskers, nose, feet, inner ears, and tail.
Mega Neon appearance
The Mega Neon River Otter glows in the same areas as the Neon River Otter, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
Patch history
When two River Otters are equipped near each other, they emit heart and sparkle effects and use tricks.
An uncolored model of the Rock is used in some of the River Otter's tricks.
The River Otter was originally named "Sea Otter". It was renamed to River Otter before being released, in response to player feedback about its appearance more closely resembling a real-life river otter.
