The Shadow Dragon is a limited legendary pet in Adopt Me! that was released on October 18, 2019, as part of the Halloween Event (2019). It could have been purchased in the Candy Trading Shop for 1,000 Robux. As the event has ended, the Shadow Dragon can now only be obtained through trading.

Appearance
The Shadow Dragon has a skeletal and gaunt appearance. It is black in color with its most notable features including two horns, an arched snout, lavender glowing eyes, wide wings, and visible spines and ribs sticking out along with a glowing tongue (although it is only visible at night). It has a partially exposed rib cage that emits glowing particle effects.

Neon Appearance
The Neon Shadow Dragon glows light purple on its horns, claws, tongue, inner wings, and parts of its spine.
Mega Neon Appearance
The Mega Neon Shadow Dragon glows in the same areas as the Neon Shadow Dragon, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.

Patch history
Originally, the Mega Neon Shadow Dragon shifted through blue and white. Another update was done such that the eyes remained light purple instead of being part of the glow cycle, but this update was later reverted in favor of the original version. During the Admin Abuse event on November 8, 2025, players were given a free Mega Neon Shadow Dragon that was rideable and flyable. This version was untradable and left players' inventories after the event ended.
