The Tegu is a limited common pet in Adopt Me! that was released on August 15, 2025, alongside the Aztec Egg. It could have been obtained through purchasing and hatching Aztec Eggs for 750 Bucks, or Basic Eggs for 400 Pet Releaser Tickets. As the Aztec Egg left the game on February 28, 2026, it can now only be obtained through hatching any remaining Aztec Eggs, or trading. There is a 35% chance of hatching the Tegu from the Aztec Egg.

Neon appearance
The Neon Tegu glows orange on its head markings, body stripes and spots, tail stripes, the underside of its head and body, and on the spots around its eyes.
Mega Neon appearance
The Mega Neon Tegu glows in the same areas as the Neon Tegu, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
