-5 Sanity every 2 seconds; Kills Patients within 30 seconds The is one of the enemies in Animal Hospital. The Bed Monster can attack both players and Patients. It can also be used against the Hiders and Mimics.

Appearance
The Bed Monster is a black shadowy figure that appears under a patient's bed. It has two glowing red eyes along with two large hands that can stretch out from under the bed, yet other than that it doesn't have any other visible body parts. It exudes black particles on the side of the bed.
Behavior
The Bed Monster will spawn under a patient's bed if he's an anomaly. It will breathe heavily as it stares at the player while they move. If a player, patient or even a hider steps into its red box, the Bed Monster will stretch out its arms and grab them. The bed monster will drag you under the bed if you step into the red box, and as this happens you need to quickly keep pressing the 'Struggle' button to escape its grasp. During this, it will decrease Sanity by 10 upon grabbing and decreases 5 sanity every 2 seconds as it pulls you in closer. If the Bed Monster grabs a patient, it will trigger an Event and pull the patient under the bed, just like it would do to a player.
Strategies
Be sure to use Maple Syrup, Transplant or an Organ to make it disappear. Simply avoid the red hitbox by going around it. You can bait a Hider to go inside of a Bed Monster's hitbox to get rid of both enemies at the same time.
Known bugs
The Bed Monster can still grab the player despite being given a consumable item. This could be due to the fact that more than one Bed Monster can spawn under the same bed, which can also be a bug.
Patch history
Ron from Accounting states that he always carries Maple Syrup on him because of the Bed Monster. Ron from Accounting has also said that The Last Guy was eaten by the Bed Monster. It is unknown if the Bed Monster being able to grab the hiders is intentional or just a bug. When the Bed Monster grabs a player, there is a typo, where "Struggle" is spelled as "Strugge". This monster is similar to Purple from the Roblox game Rainbow Friends, though nothing official has been released stating that it was inspired by Purple.
