This bee, Buoyant Bee and Frosty Bee are the only 3 bees in the game that wear hats by default.
Of the three, this one is the only colorless bee to have one.
Festive Bee and Puppy Bee, however, can have an accessory by using the and respectively.
This bee is one of the 3 bees that have the Focus ability by default, the other 2 are Looker Bee, and Music Bee.
Commander Bee is the only epic bee added in an update.

As the name and model suggest, this bee is likely inspired by the eponymous video game protagonist known as Commander Keen.
