A Field Boost is a stacking buff that provides a bonus to pollen gained, from all sources, from a specific field. Each stack of a field boost increases pollen gained from its field by 100% and has a limit of 400% or x4. Unlike field winds, which last for 30 minutes, field boosts last for 15 minutes, regardless of the source. Field boosts are obtained through the following methods: Using the Field Booster, Red Field Booster, Blue Field Booster, Using the Coconut Dispenser (only boosts the Coconut Field). Using Glitter. Giving Present to NPCs during the Beesmas 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025 events.
Patch history
Sometimes, the field glitches after the boost is gone and keeps sparkling. This is a purely visual bug, meaning that the boost is not active.
Field boosts used to stack up to x10, but after the 2019-04-05 update, it was nerfed to x5. After that, it was nerfed to x3 in the 2019-09-28 update, but it was buffed to x4 in the 2021-12-26 update to help compensate for the Jelly Beans nerf.
If the player redeems certain codes that give a field boost that is x5 or more, it will only give the player a x4 boost.
The old icon for field boosts was simply an image of grass placed on a background with a color that corresponded to that of the boosted field.
