The Jaw Shield grants the user 50% faster movement speed, 12.5% more damage on Melee attacks, 10% defense against Melee attacks, 500 energy and 250 health.
Patch history
The Captain Elephant wears the Jaw Shield visually, although he does not drop it upon defeat, nor does he get any buffs from it. Some players think the description of the Jaw Shield is misleading, since it only covers the head, not the entire body. But since the buffs of the Jaw Shield include +10% Defense against Melee attacks, the description actually makes sense. As of Update 29, the Jaw Shield has the highest increase for the damage of Melee attacks, due to Dojo Belt (Black)´s buffs being reajusted
