Location

The Ancient One is located at the Temple of Time, which can be accessed by speaking to the Mysterious Force NPC on top of Great Tree. After pulling the lever, the player can access the Trial Rooms. The Ancient One can be found near the bookshelf and right near the stairs leading to the Ancient Clock.

Patch history

The Ancient One's model is identical to that of the Frozen Watcher, the only difference being their colors. (The Frozen Watcher is blue.) If the player has not unlocked Race V4, the Ancient One will say "You have yet to achieve greatness." If the player is using Draco, the Ancient One will say "Your race treads a different path to power. I'm unable to help with this." After the player completes the final trial and its corresponding upgrade, the Ancient One will say "It seems you've made this power your own. I've done all I can for you." If the player doesn't talk to the Ancient One after placing their gear post-trial, they are unable to participate in their next trial. However, this doesn't apply to those who have obtained maximum gears (five).
