Abilities

Diablo uses Awakened Dark's [Z], [C] and [V] moves, and has Aura, which means Elemental Reflex will not work against him. A player can only hit him when they activate their own Aura, like other Elemental users.

Strategies

Although both moves of Dark deal high damage and stun the player, [Z] does not break Instinct, and while [V] does break instinct when the player is sucked in, it can still be dodged at the explosion, meaning Instinct can be used to great effect while fighting Diablo. Diablo can however use [C], which does break instinct, but since he cannot jump the player can simply sky-camp to avoid it. Buddha is also helpful, as it allows the player to tank damage with high defense, and is not hindered heavily by being stunned.
