Summary

The Balisong is a quick and unpredictable fast folding pocketknife with a Level Requirement of 16, being only available at Dealers and purchased for a small price of $70. While this weapon doesn't deal the most damage in single swings, it deals very high damage in short periods of time, doing 18 regular base damage per stab, with 6 bleed damage and only taking 3% of stamina. It only takes up a single inventory slot, being one of the lightest weapons currently available to the public. It can down unarmored players in up to 2 seconds with 6 hits. It's high mobility for swinging also makes it easier to evade gunfire and punishment from another melee weapon since you can back out of danger so quickly after a swing. This knife is best used to quickly rush against unsuspecting or distracted players when they least expect it, with the fast attack and equip speed, punishing to any unaware enemy or foe if used correct against them. It is very efficient at surprise attacks due to it not being visible when holstered and having a quick attack speed, rendering most of any unarmored people you sneak up on a nasty surprise and a handful of stab wounds.

Trivia

Based on the actual real life "Butterfly Knife". You can get the Balisong from Scrap Piles and green Weapon Crates. The Balisong has the shortest range and hitbox compared to every other melee weapon due to the sheer small size. Hitbox is sometimes broken, completely phasing through enemies if you attack them while pressing up against them. The Balisong have a rare inspect animation where the player proceeds to throw it in the air and catch it quickly after.
