Strategies

It is best used on Toons with short cooldowns such as, and for continuous Stamina regeneration or quick getaways during certain situations. Using Peppermint Icing boosts their Abilities into reliable resources, but 30 Stamina is not a lot, and should not be fully relied on. Using it for recovery between chases is a good strategy depending on the Toon. You can use this Trinket with and to regain 50 Stamina per Ability usage as her Active Ability counts as picking up an Item. This strategy, however, is extremely niche and should practically never be used, as pairing them is a bit redundant. Peppermint Icing could also be used with Toons that have low Stamina and Active Ability, such as Gigi, and. However, this is generally more fun than optimal due to their lengthy and situational Ability cooldowns. Using this Trinket in solo runs can help give Toons without self-afflicting Active Abilities like a use for their Ability, additionally making playing alone easier due to the heavier reliance on Stamina. Despite the Trinket stating that it activates after using an Active Ability, it will actually only check for Ability cooldowns. Therefore, this Trinket will not work with.

Peppermint Icing is the second Trinket to regenerate Stamina instantly, with the first being. Peppermint Icing is one of the first Event Trinkets, along with, and. Peppermint Icing is the first Trinket to fail when using certain a Ability, that being 's Springful Sharing, due to its lack of cooldown. On the other hand, with a Toggle Ability, used to have it work with her, albeit it was patched soon. The fact the Ability toggles also might have made it hard to implement. As in Bassie's case, this is likely not a bug, as it would allow Bassie to regenerate Stamina infinitely by spamming the Ability button, leading the user to practically having infinite Stamina, without having to pick up Items.
