Appearance

The icon appears as a stereotypical white bone with a round, rainbow/ schemed-striped bow tied around the center.

Strategy

Bone is most convenient to Toons such as, and, whose Abilities best support utilizing the boost. Pebble's Passive and Coal's Active Abilities, respectively Fetch! and, better prepare them to activate Bone, enabling better detection of Items around the map. Cocoa's Ability, allows her to drop a BonBon onto the floor, similarly to Bassie, which in turn gives her the ability to activate Bone consistently. Yatta's Passive, Piñata Party, drops candy whenever she's hit or when she finishes a Machine, which helps bring Items into her vicinity and to use the Trinket to its full potential, especially due to her low Stamina that results in her relying on Movement Speed in order to move around more easily. Due to Bassie's Ability not having a cooldown, you can infinitely pick up and drop Items to get the speed boost easily from Bone. Do note that this requires some precision, as when timed incorrectly, the boost wears out and doesn't give its full potential. Gigi's Active Ability, gives her an Item of any tier, which counts as picking up an Item. This means that she will activate the speed boost every time she uses her Ability, which is very useful as Gigi does not have much Stamina and can turn her Ability into a more reliable resource. Do note, however, that due to her Ability's long cooldown, this isn't the most recommended Trinket to pair with her. Bassie especially benefits best from this Trinket, as she can drop and pick up any item from her inventory at any time without cooldown.

Patch history

Bone used to increase both Walk and Run Speed by 25% when a new Floor arrives for 10 seconds. This was changed in v0.2.0. This mechanic is now used in the Trinket. Prior to v0.11.4, Bone did not have a speed cap. This was changed due to an underlying issue of players using "macros" on to reap its benefits without the skill or challenge. This put strain on the game's balancing, especially after the introduction of, despite Bassie's high Stealth, so it was implemented to keep Twisted Dyle's role as a "non-distractable" Twisted. This may be temporary, however, until other solutions can be found. Bone is the first and currently only rainbow schemed Trinket that is not. If not counting, and, as they are present in their Toons' models, this makes Bone the first Trinket that doesn't match its respective Toon's color scheme, along with, with the second being, the third being, the fourth being, and the fifth being. However, you could count the light blue from the Fishing Rod's toy fish for, the yellow from 's star in her hoodie for Lucky Coin, the red from 's nose for Festive Lights, and the red from 's half moon for Moon Pack Heirloom. Although the reason for this is not confirmed, this Trinket could be a gift from to his pet rock, since Dandy's colors are very similar to the Bone's bow. If you pick up an Item for the second time while Bone's boost is still active, the multiplier will be 33.33%, and if you do it for a third time, the multiplier is 6.7%, which is likely because it's trying to prevent you from going above 40 units of run speed.
