Appearance
The Festive Lights consists of five almond-shaped Christmas lightbulbs whose colors alternate between red and white on a black string with a curl at the end. They don't appear to be glowing but also aren't visibly out.
Strategies
You can use this Trinket when trying to farm, the Currency used for the Christmas Toons, Skins, and Stickers. However, this Trinket may not be one of the best picks as there are only two Ornaments that spawn per Floor. Using or might be better alternatives; their Abilities will help you find the same Ornaments without taking up a Trinket slot. As hunting for Ornaments takes time away from extracting/aggroing Twisteds, it isn't very effective compared to other Trinkets for grinding. If you're able to find the spawned Ornaments on your own even some of the time, this Trinket becomes nearly worthless, so try to prioritize other methods. Having one Toon with Festive Lights on could be better than most, or half the team having it on, due to the fact the user with Festive Lights could lead the other players to the Ornaments. Outside of the Christmas Event, this Trinket has no use.
Patch history
Festive Lights' 10 second cooldown was changed to 15 seconds for a short time, but it was changed back to 10 seconds. Past the Christmas Event, this Trinket has no use and will waste your Trinket slot. Festive Lights cannot scan other Event Currencies, such as or, as the description explicitly says it can only scan during the Christmas Event. However, and share the same functions of Festive Lights, but for other Events, scanning Pumpkins and Baskets, respectively. Festive Lights is one of the first Holiday Trinkets, along with, and. If not counting, and, as they are present in their Toons' models, Festive Lights is the fourth Trinket that doesn't match its respective Toon's color scheme, with the first being and, the second being, the third being, and the fifth being. However, you could count the red from Rudie's nose for Festive Lights, the light blue from the toy fish in Fishing Rod for, the yellow from 's star in her hoodie for Lucky Coin, and the red from 's half moon for Moon Pack Heirloom.
