"Fernifex possesses an ethereal aura that can calm the most tempestuous of moods, and it is known to spread peace and tranquility across its way. They are rarely sighted on the ground, roaming amongst sunny landscapes where they love bathing in mud and relaxing under the sun's warm rays. These leafy dragons are also known for their phenomenal wings, which resemble the petals of a blooming flower, despite the fact that they aren't great fliers. Furthermore, their bodies are covered in an exquisite coat of green scales, reflecting their grassy habitat. They spend their days flying over the sun-kissed meadows, spreading nature's growth & blossom petals as they go, healing any living being crossing their path. Being gentle & generally quiet dragons, they are fragile; therefore, they aren't the best at inflicting damage in combat or resisting attacks. Although they possess a strong elemental breath power, their motherly instincts stop them from using it to hurt other dragons, but rather to protect the more vulnerable ones."

Modeled by JaxonBirb. Animated by Twilight. The Fernifex's lower jaw is slightly crooked. Prior to an unknown date in 2024, one of the lowest facial leaves' patterns was misplaced. The was made breedable on February 2nd, 2024, alongside the Avefir, Ayatrice, Cybernid, Eisendrache, Hongliang, Makoura, Noctorius, Nor'gan, Ovicirus, Paukiki, Skelltor, Skriffei, Skyrix, Tarotta, Varana, Vulpiruth, and the Yulereinn with Wave 1 of the breedable Soul Bound dragons. The Thorkonyx 's Dragonpedia entry states that it's creators drew inspiration from the Fernifex.
