Overview[1]
Icebreaker is one of the various maps in Evade. It was released on September 24th, 2022 within the An Unusual Update and reworked on October 13th, 2024 within the Overhaul update. It was created by AzoDz.
Icebreaker, unlike other maps that were reworked in the Overhaul update, has become a bit smaller with the release of the update and some things on the map have been re-ordered, like the ship and the cabins being much close to the ground so that it is not so difficult for the nextbots to reach the players. Icebreaker is a map present on a frozen and northern ambiance. It has two main sections, one includes a Nautilus ship which is stuck on an iceberg, while behind it there is a small camp. The other area has a helicopter landing site, trucks and small cabins (in the main room of this cabin there is a radio which plays Smooth Nylons). This map has hazardous cold water that will rapidly damage players walking in it (in increments of 5 damage at a time). This unique feature is the first way of harming players by a small amount. Cold water also can kill the nextbots, however he will be reborn in another appearance from one of spawns.

The model of icebreaker, with is currently used also appears in the map called Classic Isle from Tower Blitz, but with a different name - Borealis. However the current version of icebreaker, which is used on this map was added along with the rework of the map on March 29th, 2025 in The Eternal Update, with also called the last Tower Blitz update or The 3rd Anniversary Update. Formerly, the cold water dealt 20 damage at a time upon contact, but this damage was dealt much more slowly.
