Strategy

As lame as it is, camping in a corner of the map is one of the best ways to survive against Super Munci. Be sure to have a Night Vision and the other light sources in hand if it's the Lurking special round, since he's very dark in the fog. Since many and maps during his special round, Lurking, will be very dark, stay very far away from Super Munci. Barriers are also highly recommended as shelter. Super Munci is impossible to outrun, but since Super Munci has much less friction than other nextbots, he can easily be dodged as he slides around a lot. This is because it would be literally impossible to even play the special round if he had tons of friction like his Angry counterpart as the moment he has his attention on you, he has already caught you. A tactic that takes advantage of this fact is by running in circles. Running in circles disrupts Super Munci's movement and forces him to briefly decelerate. B-Hopping can also be applied to disrupt his movement.

October 23rd, 2022 A Haunting All Hallow's Update Readded Super Munci into the public servers through the special round: Lurking. March 17th, 2023 The St. Patrick's Day Update 2023 Super Munci does not appear in public servers any longer, as Lurking was made VIP exclusive. December 26th, 2023 Xmas 2023 Super Munci is currently available again in his special round - Lurking. December 26th, 2024 Winter Holidays Removed old idle sound. March 17th, 2025 St. Patricks Day 2025 Added new idle sound. Returned old idle sound (Only for Legacy gamemode).

Patch history

He is described as one of most iconic nextbots in the A Haunting All Hallow's Update change log. Super Munci could originally have been seen in public servers. This was quickly patched on the same day. He was readded again in Xmas 2023 with the special round - Lurking. Strangely, the special round in which Super Munci appears is called "Evil Munci", despite the actual nextbot's name being "Super Munci". Super Munci is the second fastest nextbot behind Cat Jard in the game, Evade with his speed boost. Others with a speed boost, although much slower, are Angry Munci, Scout, ATrain, and Sanic. Strangely, in Player Nextbots gamemode, Super Munci is fast as Cat Jard and Wolf Rebel, and has the friction of Cat Jard and Wolf Rebel. Even though Super Munci is different from Angry Munci, he shares the same image but with a red filter of eyes. After update Winter Holidays 2-4 Super Munci may appear, making his special round more difficult. On December 26th, 2024, the old idle sound of Super Munci was removed from both Overhaul and Legacy, but as of March 17th, 2025, his idle sound returned and normally works in Legacy. Maybe the audio uploader appealed. However for regular game, a new idle sound has been added as a replacement (need confirmation) for old. Angry Seeker has the same eye textures as Super Munci.
