The Barreleye Fish is a Mythical fish that can be caught in The Depths. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, a -15% progress speed decrease is inflicted. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played - as with all Mythical fish.

Patch history
Before Hotfix 1.06.1, this fish was bugged, making it unobtainable. A similar issue happened with the UnusualYellow Boxfish previously. Although this fish shares its name and description with its real-life counterpart, its in-game design does not possess a translucent head with spherical eyes. There is a bug where when the player has a rod with the Steady enchantment, instead of the buff being 10%, it appears as 11%.
