The Colossal Squid is a Mythical fish obtainable in The Ocean. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, -70% Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played - as with all Mythical fish.

Despite the Colossal Squid's description, it is possible to catch during the day, however, it is quite rare. The Colossal Squid can also be caught in at Snowcap Island, Atlantis and Ancient Isle, at parts where the water connects to The Ocean's deep water, although it does not appear in the Bestiary or other notes.

The Colossal Squid was formly known as one of the hardest fish to catch, having had the highest progress speed decrease (-70%) and rapid movement. It also had an infamous reputation of scaring anyone who caught it using a low rod, and ruining their catch streaks. Despite its weight only being 1,000Kg, it has a very large physical appearance in-game.
