Corrupted Megalodon is a Special fish found in any body of water during the CORRUPTION Admin Event.
The Corrupted Megalodon is a Special fish that can only be obtained during the "CORRUPTION" admin event. It is an exceptionally challenging catch, moving unpredictably across the bar. When attempting to reel it in, a -98% locked progress speed is applied, significantly reducing catch efficiency. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound is played - as with all Special fish.

Notes
The Corrupted Megalodon cannot be appraised through standard means, but it can be evaluated using the Treasure Appraiser. The Corrupted Megalodon inflicts a lower progress speed on the player then with a normal Megalodon. As with all admin event fish, it cannot be caught while wearing the Noise-Cancelling Headphones accessory.
