Overview[1]
The apex of Fisch. When the music changes and the water goes dark, you're no longer the one fishing.
The Megalodon is an Exotic fish that can be caught in an abundance that always spawns behind Ancient Isle during Megalodon Hunts. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, -80% Locked Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound is played - as with all Exotic fish. Due to its rapid movement combined with its heavy progress rate deduction, Deep Coral would be the ideal bait to use whilst trying to lure it as it gives 50, causing the bar to move much slower and allow for a largely easier catch. Alternatively, the Shark Head is also recommended, as the Megalodon prefers the bait, increasing the probability of luring it and additionally gives 10, therefore making it a superb option for those who can keep up with the Megalodon's unpredictable movement and want to potentially lure it faster. It is recommended to use rods with high, high or a Stab ability to catch the Megalodon. For example: No-Life Rod, Trident Rod, Azure of Lagoon, Cerulean Fang Rod, etc. Use the Hasty enchant on low rods to speed up fishing. Use Immortal for higher chance to catch the megalodon. Lucky or Divine as an alternative if is not available. Use Mystical or Piercing on rods with low. Resilient, Long or Chaotic as an alternative if is not available.
How to get it

Notes
The regular Megalodon can be caught in all types of Megalodon Hunts including the Hunt and also Hunt. The cheapest rod that can catch the Megalodon is the Steady Rod, only costing. (Note that if you use this rod, it is recommended to have boosting Enchantments or Baits in order to make the Megalodon's movement less erratic). When caught, the Megalodon plays a unique catch cutscene; as with other types of Megalodons, Krakens, and Scyllas. The Megaladon despawns after 12 minutes if it is not caught. Megalodon Hunts can be forced to occur by using the Megalodon Hunt Totem. The player can also use Sundial Totem as the totem skips the current time cycle and can provide opportunities for the Megalodon to spawn at the start of every day cycle, spawning it at a faster rate. (Spawning a Megalodon takes around 70 Sundial Totems on average, if nothing happens after 60-70 Sundial Totems or more, try rejoining the server, it might be bugged). Rods with weight limits between 25,000 - 40,000 Kg need the Herculean enchantment in order to catch the Megalodon, such as Crystalized Rod, Rod Of The Depths, Firework Rod and Luminescent Oath. Rods with weight limits between 40,000 - 49,999 Kg can use the Unbreakable enchantment instead, in order to catch the Megalodon, although a rod with these weight limits does not exist. Any rods below 25,000kg have to use the Invincible Enchant to catch the Megalodon. Rods below the Megalodon's minimum weight limit are not recommended to catch the Megalodon, as they tend to have low and, and require a specific enchant to catch the Megalodon. Catch Cutscene
Abilities
Has a 12% chance per fish movement to go on a "rampage", with the chance decreasing by 1.2% every attack until it reaches 6%. Reduces 25% of the current reeling progress, and shrinks the bar (reduce the bar size) by 15% for 2 seconds.

Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its documented average sell price in C$ — what it sells for at its average weight. A rod's value is its documented shop cost. Both are in-game facts from the community wiki, not a trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.
