The Steady Rod is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained in Roslit Bay for 7,000 C$.

The Steady Rod performs as its name suggests, being able to catch massive fish such as the as well as having decent and stats. However, with a of -60%, catching fish takes much longer as compared to other rods. Fortunately, this is alleviated with a larger shake UI. This rod is commonly used for mid-game progression. It simplifies catching valuable and fish, even being able to catch difficult deep-sea fish like the without relying heavily on enchantments.

Obtainment

The Steady Rod can be obtained for 7,000C$ C$ in Roslit Bay. It is located near the Roslit Blacksmith, Alfie, in the same area where the Rapid Rod and the Fortune Rod can be found.

Notes

The Depthseeker Rod, used for mid-game progression, serves as a direct upgrade to the Steady Rod. It boasts better stats in all categories, the only downside being the size of the shake UI, which is smaller like all the other rods. During mid-game, it is recommended to enchant this rod as it's likely going to be the player's main rod until you they can buy either of the following rods: Depthseeker Rod, Aurora Rod, Arctic Rod, or Mythical Rod. The best Enchantments for this rod are Swift or preferably Hasty, due to the Steady Rod's very low.
