The Fortune Rod is a rod in Fisch with a higher-than-average luck stat of 200%, making it a somewhat viable option for Bestiary completion and catching high-rarity fish. However, the lure speed stat of 30% and resilience stat of 10% significantly undermine the rod's ability to catch rarer fish. Deep-sea mythical fish such as the Colossal Squid will move sporadically across the fishing bar, proving to be a challenge for many players.

The Fortune Rod can be obtained for in Roslit Bay. It is located near the Roslit Blacksmith, Alfie, in the same area where the Steady Rod and the Rapid Rod can be found.
Notes
The Fortune Rod is recommended to be skipped, as other mid-game rods such as the Steady Rod and Nocturnal Rod outperform it. It is not recommended to spend money to enchant mid-game rods like the Fortune Rod due to their obsolescence as the player progresses towards the late-game stage. The fortune rod is not a complete replacement for the Lucky Rod. Stats changed in Update 1.29.0.
