Overview[1]
The Lucky Rod is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained in Moosewood for 4,500 C$.
The Lucky Rod is a Fishing Rod that's generally known for luck used by early-game players. Although it is cheap, it holds decent stats. The Rod's tip is green with a four-leaf clover on top, and its handle and spinning reel is also green. Its body is brown, and a horseshoe can be seen hanging loosely on the reel seat.

Obtainment
The Lucky Rod can be obtained for 5,250C$ in Moosewood, the island where new players spawn in. It is located in Moosewood Village at the Merchant, Marc's Shop, in the same area where the Training Rod, Plastic Rod, Fast Rod, and Carbon Rod can be found.
Notes
Just like any other early-game rod, it is not recommended to spend money to Enchant the Lucky Rod due to its obsolescence as the player progresses in the game. The Lucky Rod isn't worth the 5,250C$ investment, as both the Steady Rod and Carbon Rod are far better options for early fishing. Its only advantage is a 60% increase in luck over other early-game rods found in the area. Stats changed in Update 1.29.0.
Pros and Cons
Very high luck. Cheap and affordable. Decent stats., Low Resilience. Very low maximum weight. Not great for mid/late game. Low Lure Speed.
Value

What does this mean?
Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its average sale price in C$ at average weight. A rod's value is its listed C$ price, which may be only one part of a crafting requirement. These are game reference figures, not trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.
