Enchants
Just like any other early-game rod, it is not recommended to spend money to Enchant the Training Rod due to its obsolescence as the player progresses in the game. For miscellaneous use: Hasty to drastically increase the lure speed. Divine or best of all Immortal to increase luck, or Lucky to increase mutation rate.
Notes
Due to it's low stat however, it can be used in niche cases, which are only recommended for well off players. It's low stat allows fish above it's threshold to be cut off from the loot table, allowing fish within the limit, such as rare fish like the Pufferfish to be singled out from a larger loot table.
Value
300C$
What does this mean?
Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its documented average sell price in C$ — what it sells for at its average weight. A rod's value is its documented shop cost. Both are in-game facts from the community wiki, not a trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.
