Lava Clam is a known catch in Fisch, found around Scoria Reach — sells for about 68 C$ per kg. In-game bestiary: “A bivalve adapted to extreme temperatures, its shell lined with heat-resistant minerals. Prized for the unique pearls it occasionally produces.”
The Lava Clam is a fish obtained from lava in Scoria Reach. Due to its rarity, it makes for an easy catch, moving slowly and steadily across the bar. When reeling it in, a -10% progress speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played - as with all fish. When caught, a random pearl from the possible loot will be granted to the player. The pearls can be given to Crag Crabs and send them mining for 5 mins.
