Metal Strongbox is a known catch in Fisch, found around Tidefall — sells for about 25 C$ per kg. In-game bestiary: “A large heavy duty crate, lost from some sort of underground civilisation. The date of it's [sic] disappearance is unknown. Therefore, finders keepers?- Opening it might give you an array of fish, and money!”
The Metal Strongbox is a crate that can be caught in Tidefall. Due to its rarity, it makes for an easy catch, moving steadily across the fishing bar. When hooked, an exclamation icon will pop above player’s head and a bell sound is played - as with all fishes.
