Overview[1]
The Laboratory is a location in the First Sea located North of Roslit Bay and South-East of Sunstone Island. It consists of a boat docking bay at sea-level, with a rope leading up to a large central platform containing various NPCs and the Laboratory structure itself.
The Laboratory is located near Roslit Bay, specifically, inside a large oil rig added in version 1.21.0. The player may climb a rope near the Shipwright to reach the top of The Laboratory. Dr. Crookspine can be found here, and when talking to him, he will give the player a quest to collect 3 different Exotic fish. The reward for completing the quest is the Glimmersuit Boots. The Cinder Brick rod can be found here at, or at the roof of the Laboratory for C$50,000 C$.

Bestiary
Currently, no fish are unique to the Laboratory. Fishing around it will give fish from The Ocean bestiary.
Dr. Crookspine's Quest
After speaking with Dr. Crookspine, who can be found at the top of The Laboratory within his lab, the player will be given the Dr. Crookspine Invention quest. To complete the quest, the player must catch 3 Exotic fish which are all parts for the players' reward: the Glimmersuit Boots.
