The Blade Of Glorp is a High-End rod with a high Lure Speed and Luck. It also has a mediocre Control and adequate Resilience. Its passive offers a high risk, high reward-type, making it suitable for players who can manage its unstable mechanics.

Passives

23% chance for Gleebous (8x) Every 2 seconds, 20% chance for a laser to strike after 2 warnings. After the laser strikes: -66% for 0.3 seconds. (Reduces Control to 1/3 of it's current value) Sets Progress Gain/Loss rate to 0.25% per frame for 0.3 seconds. If the fish has not left the fishing bar after 0.3 seconds, it gains +10% progress. If the Mastery Passive is enabled, the following buffs will be added to the passive: +10% chance for the Gleebous mutation +1 UFO Buddy A higher chance to laser a fish (1 in 3) Two more warnings before lasering a fish. Obtainment

The Blade Of Glorp can be obtained in Roslit Bay after completing 2 quests, specifically where the Glorp NPC stands.

Enchantments

Because of its low base control stat and control gimmick, Herculean is best to increase its control. If are unavailable, use Controlled. To increase fish size, use Sea Overlord + Sea Prince, or Sea King if and/or are unavailable. For easier perfect catching, use Chronos and/or Cryogenic, or for reeling in progress locked fish, Overclocked.

Notes

Glorp can only be interacted if the player is Level 888 or above. Earlier, this was not the case and any player who had the Translator could talk to Glorp and complete his quest. Later this was changed.
